1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Launch ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Launch is

Launch is an AI-powered study productivity tool for students. It helps you manage tasks, projects, and habits, and provides coaching powered by AI. It is not a substitute for professional academic, mental health, or other advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Launch. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian is aware of your use. We may terminate accounts that violate this requirement.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Upload content that is harmful, abusive, or infringes third-party rights
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the Service
• Use the Service to cheat on academic assessments in violation of your institution's policies

6. AI-generated content

Launch uses AI to generate coaching messages, task plans, and quiz questions. This content is generated automatically and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for verifying any important information before acting on it.

7. Billing and subscriptions

Launch offers a free trial followed by a paid subscription. Billing is handled by Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your profile page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for partial periods.

8. Your content

You own the content you upload (notes, files, task descriptions). By uploading it, you grant Launch a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train AI models.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Launch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
